To add to the existing line up of Evolution, iQ and LFi series, the new line marks another stage in the company’s innovation within the hidden speaker market.

The research and development department at Amina HQ in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire has been quietly developing what Amina believes is to be ‘the highest quality invisible speaker available anywhere in the world,” according to Richard Newlove, managing director of the company.

Rendered behind a 2mm skim of plaster, the maker says Amina Mobius pushes the sonic boundaries of what is possible with plaster-over loudspeaker technology.

Building on the award-winning Evolution Series design, the Mobius incorporates the company’s Opti-Drive and Opti-Damping technology as well as Reduced-Resonance Exciter technology, designed to offer greater low frequency extension and smooth high frequency dispersion all the way to the ultrasonic region.

Amina says these developments allow for unprecedented high frequency performance and detail, enhanced bass reproduction and increased power handling, all in the easy to install, lightweight form-factor that the company is known for.

Richard, enthuses: “Invisible speaker technology has been our sole dedication at Amina Technologies all these years. Today we believe we have found the answer to what was to us the ultimate challenge: an invisible sound solution without any audio compromise.
