ISE was a busy time for WyreStorm showcasing lots of new hardware and software capabilities, however away from these two main areas the company also made a significant announcement in terms of working with the brand and its products, a new five year warranty.
Made effective from January 1, 2018, the new five year warranty increases on the company’s previous three year limited liability warranty and covers all WyreStorm products, with the exception of its WyreStorm Express line, which retains its one year warranty.
Designed to illustrate the company’s confidence in its products and its dedication to providing high-performance customer support, the new set up automatically applies to all products in the Installer Solutions and Pro AV Solutions lines purchased after January 1, 2018 onwards. The company has also backdated the new warranty to include previously purchased products still within their original three year warranty; effectively adding a further two-years to all existing warranty periods.
On the announcement, WyreStorm VP of international sales, Vincent Philippo, states, “The warranty extension from three to five years clearly demonstrates our commitment to both our partners and end users. It means our customers now have one of the highest possible levels of protection and ultimate peace of mind.”
In a move designed to strengthen its value proposition in commercial Pro AV as well as residential CI markets, the maker says its new terms demonstrates its continued commitment to providing best in class products and leading support, as well as reflecting the company’s belief in the superiority of its technologies.
Continuing its support of its value add distribution partners and the installation market, with the exception of its Express line, WyreStorm also continues its position of not offering warranty on any of its products purchased from non-authorised sales channels, such as online click-to-buy resellers.
