Hamilton Litestat has recently finished a refurbishment of Anne Boleyn’s guest rooms within a new wing of Hever Castle’s Bed and Breakfast accommodation.

The company was appointed by Hever Castle to bring the rooms into the 21st Century without sacrificing the history of the grounds, or the room.

Nine new suites and a breakfast room needed refurbishment, with the first addition in the new look and feel of the rooms being Hamilton’s Mercury Lighting Control System.

The project’s interior designer, Sarah Clark of ‘Nine to Eleven’ says: “I was initially drawn to Hamilton for its Mercury Lighting Control system and range of stunning switch plates and sockets which perfectly suited the needs of this project. However I soon came to appreciate and value the fabulous personal service and consultative approach provided by the Hamilton team.”

To accommodate the need for working with period features, Hamilton created tailor-made control plates, while the Harland CFX collection was chosen, finished in Richmond Bronze.

Hamilton’s four button control plate offers guests more choice in creating an environment to suit their needs, with ‘Bright’, ‘Calm’, ‘Cosy’ and ‘Off’ the four options to choose from.
