J-Tech Digital, a provider of audio visual integrations and devices worldwide, has officially joined the SDVoE Alliance as an adopting member. In addition to the new membership status, J-Tech Digital will premiere its very first AV-over-IP equipment at Infocomm 2018 in June.

“AV over IP is a new venture for our company, and we are very excited to be able to pursue this line of technology and work amongst some of the most innovative pioneers in the industry of Ethernet to AV protocols,” says Jeff Wang, founder and CEO of J-Tech Digital.

“J-Tech Digital strives to introduce the latest technologies to our customers, and now thanks to the SDVoE Alliance, we can offer the newest products, while working alongside some of the most innovative companies and contributors in the market. We hope that introducing AV-over-IP products to our consumers will push this protocol to become the AV standard for commercial integrators and residential buyers.”

“We welcome J-Tech Digital to the SDVoE Alliance and look forward to their SDVoE product debut at InfoComm,” adds Justin Kennington, president of the SDVoE Alliance.

“Their experience in home and enterprise integration will undoubtedly lead to a variety of successful and innovative SDVoE installations.”

All AV distribution and processing applications that demand zero-latency, uncompromised video should benefit from SDVoE technology, which provides an end-to-end hardware and software platform for AV extension, switching, processing and control through advanced chipset technology, common control APIs and interoperability. SDVoE network architectures are based on off-the-shelf Ethernet switches, thus offer substantial cost savings and greater system flexibility and scalability over traditional approaches – such as point-to-point extension and circuit-based AV matrix switching.
