CEDIA has awarded Invision UK £500 as part of its Trade Supplier Recommendation initiative scheme, after the Suffolk-based distributor reached its target.

The scheme aims to grow CEDIA’s membership through recommendations from distributors or manufacturers. Once a Trade Supplier member company achieves eight successful recommendations, CEDIA rewards each sales representative with a CEDIA jacket, as well as £500 worth of CEDIA credit. This credit can be used to pay for CEDIA membership, to purchase CEDIA literature or tickets for the CEDIA EMEA Awards and attend CEDIA training courses.

New installer members have the opportunity to share the name of the distributor who had referred them to CEDIA on its membership application form.  Invision UK Ltd is the second Trade Supplier Member to reach this target with Aldous Systems (Europe) Ltd achieving this same status in 2015.

“We’re delighted to reward Invision for their efforts,” says Wendy Griffiths, CEDIA’s executive director. “They are doing a sterling job in promoting the benefits of CEDIA and encouraging companies to join the association. With their help, and the support of others in the CEDIA Community, our EMEA membership is continuing to grow which is helping to elevate our voice and the visibility of our profession.”
