AudioControl has begun shipping the latest additions to the Concert AVR series; all of which boast Dolby Atmos, 4K, HDMI 2.0a, HDCP 2.2 and DIRAC Live support.
Joining the Concert series are the AVR-7 and AVR-9 receivers which have been designed to be both visually and acoustically striking.
The AVR-9’s powerful high-current 7 x 200W per channel theatre amplifier creates a unique audio platform designed to turn watching a movie in the living room, media space or theatre into a movie lover’s ‘nirvana’.
The Concert AVR-7 also benefits from the same high performing audio and video platform as the Concert AVR-9, powering its seven-channel amplifier at 100W per channel into 8 ohms.
Both the AVR-7 and AVR-9 benefit from four high-performance Dolby Atmos pre-amp outputs. Users can drive the Dolby Atmos channels using the high-power amplification contained inside the concert AVR’s and also add additional power utilising AudioControl’s high-power two-channel Bijou 600 or Rialto 600 amplifiers.
To complement AudioControl’s new concert receiver platform, AudioControl is introducing ‘DIRAC LIVE’ room correction on all of its home theatre products providing one of the most effective and flexible room calibration systems available today.
The AudioControl Concert AVR-7 and AVR-9 include seven HDMI 2.0a inputs, four COAX SPDIF and two Toslink digital audio inputs. There are also six stereo analogue inputs, a USB input and an Ethernet client. Both models benefit from second zone HDMI outputs (ARC compatible).
Surround modes include Dolby Atmos, Dolby True HD, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Digital EX, Dolby Digital 5.1, Dolby Pro Logic IIx and DTS-HD Master Audio. Both devices are also DTS:X-ready.
AudioControl’s Concert AVR Receivers are designed exclusively for the custom install channel.
They have Ethernet connectivity, RS232 and are compatible with control systems like Control4, Crestron, RTI and Savant.
Both models have the ability to scale to any resolution standard or high definition sources, where required.
